Welcome to Third Person.  This privacy policy (this “Policy”) outlines how [MHRB Inc. dba Third Person] (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects your information on our website at www.thirdperson.co (the “Website”), as well as through all related applications, software, tools, and other services provided by us and on which a link to this Policy is displayed (collectively, together with the Website, the “Platform”).  By using our Platform, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information in accordance with this Policy.  This Policy is incorporated by reference into the Third Person Terms and Conditions of Service and Use (Brand TOS / Provider TOS) applicable to you and is subject to the terms thereof.

Information We Collect

We collect personal and non-personal information related to you and your 3PL business needs and capabilities.  This may include information from the following categories: 

Business Information.  We collect:  (a) contact information, such as your name, business name, address, phone number, and email address, to establish and maintain communications between and among us and the users of our Platform; (b) business profile information, including details about your industry, products/services, and your specific third-party logistics needs and capabilities, to enable us to tailor our services to your B2B requirements; and (c) account credentials, such as usernames and passwords, for user authentication and security purposes.

Platform Usage Data.  We may also collect:  (a) information about how you interact with our Platform, including the pages you visited, your searches, clicks, and preferences, to enhance user experience and improve our Platform; and (b) technical details about the devices, browsers, and operating systems used to access the Platform for optimization purposes and to help diagnose problems with our servers, administer our Platform, enhance security, and identify our users.

In addition, when you visit or use our Platform or open our emails (or other electronic communications from us), we and our third-party service providers may collect certain information by automated means, such as via cookies, web beacons, and web server logs.  The information collected in this manner may include IP address, browser characteristics, device IDs and characteristics, operating system version, language preferences, referring URLs, and other information about the usage of our Platform.  We may link this data to your account profile.  You may be able to change your browser settings to block and/or delete cookies when you access the Platform through a web browser.  However, if you do that, the Platform may not function as intended.

How We Use Your Information 

We utilize the collected data to match businesses with suitable 3PL service providers through our proprietary algorithm.  Your information is necessary to gather insights into Platform usage and to enable and enhance our Platform’s functionality and improve our services.  We may de-identify and/or aggregate information about you, and use and disclose it for our business purposes.  We may also use the information you provide us to contact you regarding products, services, and offers, both from ourselves and from third parties, that we believe you may find of interest.  If you receive commercial email from us, you may unsubscribe at any time by following the instructions contained within the email; provided, however, even if you opt-out from receiving commercial messages from us, you will continue to receive administrative messages from us regarding your account on our Platform.

Sharing Information

We share the information you provide to us to facilitate accurate matches between businesses and 3PL service providers.  However, we will not disclose your personally identifiable information without your consent.  We may also disclose the information you provide us to third-party service providers (e.g., payment processing and data storage and processing facilities) that assist us in offering the Platform.  We limit the information provided to these service providers to that which is reasonably necessary for them to perform their functions, and we require them to agree to adequately maintain the confidentiality of such information.

Business Transfers

Information about the users of our Platform, including personal information, may be disclosed and otherwise transferred to an acquirer, or successor or assignee as part of any merger, acquisition, debt financing, sale of MHRB Inc.’s assets, or similar transaction, as well as in the event of an insolvency, bankruptcy, or receivership in which personal information is transferred to one or more third parties as one of our business assets.

Security

We use reasonable security measures that are designed to protect your information from accidental loss, disclosure, misuse, and destruction.  These measures may include regular review of our data collection and storage processes, data encryption, and security software on our networks and servers.  Please be aware, however, that no data security measures can be guaranteed to be completely effective.  Consequently, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information that you provide to us.  You transmit your information to us at your own risk.

Access

You have the right to access, correct, or delete the information contained in your Platform account profile.  If you have concerns or requests, please contact us at help@thirdperson.co.  If you request that we delete your account on our Platform, we will do so within a reasonable period of time, but we may need to retain some of your information in order to satisfy our legal obligations, or where we reasonably believe that we have a legitimate reason to do so.  

Links

The Platform may contain, or, in connection with your use of the Platform, we may provide, links to other websites, products, or services that we do not own or operate.  For example, the Platform may contain links to, or other means to connect with, recommended 3PL service providers which Platform users may choose to engage for business purposes.  If you choose to visit or use any such third-party sites, please be aware that this Policy will not apply to your activities, or any information you disclose, while using those third-party sites.  We are not responsible for the privacy practices of such third-party sites or for any products or services on or made available through them.  We encourage you to carefully review the information collection and use policies applicable to any website or service you visit before providing any personal or business-related information to them.

International Visitors

Our servers and data centers are located in the United States.  If you choose to use the Platform from outside the U.S., then you should know that you are transferring your information outside of your region and into the U.S. for storage and processing.  By providing your information to us through your use of the Platform, you agree to that transfer, storage, and processing in the U.S. Also, we may transfer your data from the U.S. to other countries or regions in connection with the storage and processing of data, fulfilling your requests, and operating the Platform.  You should know that each region can have its own privacy and data security laws, some of which may be less stringent as compared to those of your own region.

Updates to this Policy

We may occasionally update this Policy.  When we do, we will also revise the “last updated” date at the beginning of the Policy.  Your continued use of the Platform after such changes will be subject to the then-current policy.  If we change this Policy in a manner that is materially less restrictive of our use or disclosure of your information, we will use reasonable efforts to notify you of the change and to obtain your consent prior to applying the change to any information that we collected from you prior to the date the change becomes effective.  We encourage you to periodically review this Policy to stay informed about how we collect, use, and disclose your information.
